Spotlight Communications has worked on long-running sustainability and corporate communications engagements across the Asia-Pacific. The following case studies illustrate the nature and scope of that work.
Thai Union Group
Sustainability Reporting and Strategic Communications
Thai Union is one of the world's largest seafood companies and a listed public company in Thailand with operations spanning brands including John West, Chicken of the Sea and King Oscar. Spotlight Communications has worked with Thai Union since 2018, across a range of sustainability and corporate communications.
The work includes leading the development of Thai Union's annual Sustainability Report, a multi-chapter, investor-facing document covering topics from traceability and ocean plastics to responsible aquaculture and decarbonisation, alongside executive communications including CEO and CSO messages, speeches, press releases and strategic communications around the company's SeaChange global sustainability strategy.
Other work has included the 2020 retrospective video marking five years of SeaChange, developed in partnership with video agency AsiaWorks.
CP AXTRA
Executive communications for senior leadership
CP AXTRA is the Thai-listed retail arm of the Charoen Pokphand Group, operating the Makro wholesale and Lotus's retail brands across Southeast Asia. Spotlight Communications provides executive communications support to CP AXTRA's senior leadership, with a particular focus on the CEO of the Wholesale Business.
The work includes LinkedIn content for the CEO, press releases, speeches, internal communications and event materials, spanning sustainability initiatives, major partnerships and corporate announcements. Recent work has included communications around the company's Zero Waste to Landfill program, its inclusion in the S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment, and strategic partnerships with companies including Alibaba Cloud and Cainiao.

The Business Council for Sustainable Development Australia (BCSDA) is the Australian network partner of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) representing businesses committed to a sustainable future. Spotlight Communications supports BCSDA with press releases and LinkedIn communications, providing writing and messaging support on the organisation's policy and advocacy work.
U.S. Soybean Export Council

The U.S. Soybean Export Council (USSEC) is a non-profit organisation representing U.S. soy farmers internationally, working to develop export markets and support sustainable soy production. Spotlight Communications has supported USSEC with press releases and LinkedIn content on the role of U.S. soy in markets in Southeast Asia.

Asset World Corporation (AWC) is a Thai-listed company that describes itself as Thailand's leading integrated lifestyle real estate group, with a portfolio spanning hospitality, retail and commercial property. Its hotel portfolio in Thailand includes properties operated under the Marriott, InterContinental, Banyan Tree, Hilton and Okura Prestige brands.
Spotlight Communications has worked with AWC since 2022, providing writing and editorial support across the company's external and executive communications. The work includes drafting press releases on major corporate announcements and partnerships, speechwriting for senior leadership, and editorial support on the company's annual Sustainability Report.
